Noone's talking about prom anymore!

It did kind of seem that I was the only (-ONLY) person to actually want to go for National Service.

Yes I WANT.

Past few days, you hear people going, "I checked my status, I didn't get selected! Yeay!"

And I would secretly think, I hope I'm not him/her.

But as often as I tried to check my status online, I couldn't get into the 'khidmat negara' site. Pffft.

And then I found out that....




















I was selected!

And I'm totally rejoicing unlike a lot of other people who 'kena' because I WANT TO GO!

I totally am aware that it means no computer/internet/blogging for 3 whole months, no real music for120 days.

But who cares?

You get to fire 50 bullets from the M16 okay!

You get to live with total strangers for 120 days! (Longer, and probably better, than OBS or something.)

You get to come back, all fit and healthy and minus the spare tyre right on your belly!

This is me, being totally psyched up for it!

You know, an unusually huge amount of CHS-ians got selected.

Unlike over in Sri Aman, where they have been jinxed by the never-kena-NS jinx.



But to them, it is a GOOD jinx, see?



Only 2, since it started.

Long list of people on Li-Ann's site shows that Catholic High is, undoubtedly, BADLY jinxed. I'm feeling good that a lot of my friends are going also. (Not good to be alone.)

I heard that people steal your clean underwear, 'cause they're too lazy to clean their own. So then everyone starts NOT cleaning their clothes, for fear of having them stolen.

Plus, how're you gonna deal with your monthlies?

Pffft.

[EDITED] Okay I stand corrected. It's only 30 bullets. But it's a buck a bullet, so the government is still spending 30 bucks on everyone of us.
