Anything goes!

I am a (lisenced driver), hear me (start my car engine)!

Two days ago Joanne told me when she took her driving exam last year, she bribed, because it's much much safer, then Nico said that if you don't bribe, they'd sometimes purposely fail you.

Then with every tiny mistake I made on the road, (i.e. forgetting to put signal, terpijak white line), my stupid instructor would happily go, "Like this exam SURE FAIL ahh!"

So I was scared loh, I thought I was bound to fail my road exam.

Plus, it was like raining and all (of all days it could rain in the morning, had to be today).

So basically I went there super low in confidence, hoping, hoping, hoping orang JPJ tu ada good moral values, hates bribers, looks up to people who don't bribe.

And I came back............

............ a lisenced driver!

Haha, I passed!

I can drive I can drive I can drive!

When I was in Form One, I almost fainted in school and had all these weird aches everywhere, so my dad took me to the clinic. The doctor told me I could have dengue (how do you spell it), and he told me to come back two days later to check again, I was so, so, SO scared.

I asked my mom if anyone had died from dengue before, and she said, "Yes, I think so." That totally scared the shit out of me. Totally.

I started making promises to any higher power up there who might be listening, I promised that if it was only some minor illness and NOT dengue, that if I didn't have to die, then I would start eating extra healthily, and I would finish ALL my homework, and study EXTRA HARD. I went, "I promise I promise I promise!"

Turned out it wasn't dengue afterall, and I didn't die either. (Big 'DUH'.)

But do you see me eating healthily? NO. Do you see me doing all my homework? NO. Do you see me studying hard? Yes, but only when the exams are near.

So did I keep my promise? Say 'hell no'.

But there I was again today, making promises I know would be hard to keep.

"If I pass my exam today, I promise promise promise that I will immediately start studying. I would study every single day. I will will WILL be totally prepared for my trials next month."

And the higher power up there heard me I guess, and I probably should really keep my promise this time. Afterall, it's for my own good.

I have had so many different study buddies la, some that worked out, some that talked the talk but never managed to walk the walk (we made all sorts of plans to study but never really carrying them out).
So very sad, hor?

My pledges
I pledge to study every single day.
I pledge to spend the day at the library at least twice a week.
I pledge to cut down on my computer time.
I pledge to not watch Rockstar: Supernova for the month of August.
I pledge to use my time wisely in class.

And last of all,
I pledge to keep all my pledges.

But I seriously need help la. Who can be my all-serious, no play-play study buddy?

WELCOME!

Sit back, put your feet up, and read whatever ramblings of Chooiyen.

Grab a cuppa while you're at it, too.
Because Chooiyen has got a lot to say!

Why do I have huge fonts?
It makes for an easier read, d'oh.

Apparently, huge fonts are ugly. *Shrugs
